Nohsaku artisans hand-finish tin cups one by one, which are soft and unsuitable for machine work, and Kanazawa artisans apply gold leaf one by one.

This Guchinomi, or Sake cup, is recommended for those who want to enjoy delicious sake every day.

The shine of the gold leaf enhances the sake even more. Because of its high thermal conductivity, the cup itself becomes hot, so use it for cold or lukewarm sake. Since 100% tin is too soft to be used by machines, each Guchinomi is finished by hand by a craftsman in Kanazawa, who applies the gold leaf one by one.

The craftsmen finish each piece by hand.
